What is Nano brows?
It involves using a fine needle or nano-needle to implant pigment into the skin, creating hair-like strokes that mimic the natural look of eyebrows. This technique aims to provide a more defined and fuller brow with a natural appearance. The results typically last between one to three years before touchup, depending on individual factors such as skin type and aftercare.

The Lip Journey:
1st session was only neutralizing the darker tones on the top lip and bottom lip border with only correctors. Appointment was quick, less than 1.5 hours.

When she came back for her second session, the darker tones on her lips were light enough to add a target color. She requested a bubble gum pink shade, so I added Bazooka to the mix.

Both sessions, I used no numbing at all, which allowed the ink to implant easier and quicker and a shorter appointment. Client claimed minimal discomfort.

Where we started and where we are now...
Between the years, my client only had 2 touchups to maintain her lip neutralization.

Lip Neutralization requires touchups due to the ink fading over time, causing your natural cool/dark tones to resurface. There isn't a specific time frame of when you should get your touchup. My advice is once you start to see those dark/cool tones resurface, get the touchup sooner than later. The longer you wait, those tones become more visible and can result in multiple touchup sessions to get you back to your optimal neutralization results.

Lip neutralization involves pateince and strict aftercare practices.

If you ask me how many sessions you will need, my answer will always be, "I can not determine the amount of sessions needed you until I see your healed results after each session."

I will tell you that it takes a minimum of 2 sessions or more and 3 months to see results.

I have some clients that yield amazing results in 1 session, and I have clients that don't show results until
after session 2.

And, of course, there are always risks. Lip skin is very different than facial skin. Much thinner and more easily damaged with poor aftercare practices. The better you are with your aftercare, the less chance of infection.

Even with all the unpredictability and risks, my clients are always very pleased with their natural results and have no regrets.

Here are the healed results from the lips in the previous post. Swipe to see 2 years worth of healed results.

Couldn't achieve this level of saturation without Colorizer, Illume, Malina, and the Flux S Max Rouge + Vertix needles 1rl and 3rs.

Her lips required multiple passes, especially on the cupid's bow and corners. Using the 1rl in these areas gave the best saturation of pigment. When I tried with the 3rs it wasn't implanting the ink as well as the 1rl. Every lip is different, so you must use what works for your client, and sometimes that requires trying different needle configurations.

When you return for your 8 week touchup, we can always add more color and width. You can always add, but you cannot take away. Once it's in, it's in and the only options are waiting til they fade or saline/laser removal...and who wants to go through that? ​​​​​​​​

Here is a comparison between week 1 and week 4 after lip neutralization. My client experienced temporary hyperpigmentation which means her lips turned darker during the healing process. This is common for Fitz 4 and up and is a normal reaction after the lip skin experiences the trauma done by tattooing.
Before I start the procedure, I always remind my client that this is a possibility and not to worry as color will return slowly by week 8.

You can see in the photo that her color is slowly returning and there's have 4 weeks left to see it in full bloom 🌸!

I know I say it often, but I will say it again.​​​​​​​​
NOT EVERYONE HEALS THE SAME AND RESULTS VARY.​​​​​​​​

Here are some common questions I get and my answers will not change.​​​​​​​​

How many sessions will I need?​​​​​​​​
We must wait to see how you heal after 8-12 weeks to determine if you need another session. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
What color will my lips be?​​​​​​​​
With neutralizing, I use a warm tone to lift the dark cool tones, and the goal is a natural peachy pink tone. But again, I cannot guarantee how it will look exactly because it will all depend on how your body naturally heals.​​​​​​​​
If you do not need neutralization, your lips will be a tint version of the color you want,​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Will this hurt?​​​​​​​​
Well, it is a tattoo. I do use a numbing cream but everyone's pain tolerance is different. Most of my clients who were nervous about the pain have said that it was tolerable and would do it again. Some clients have fallen asleep!​​​​​​​​
I did mine and didn't mind the sensation at all.​​​​​​​​

How long is the healing and what do I need to do?​​​​​​​​
Healing can take 5-7 days and the number one rule is to keep them moisturized. Once you start feeling them get dry, time to put another layer of balm on. ​​​​​​​​
