On Saturday, we came together with the Elgin and Schaumburg Police Departments for a friendly — yet competitive — game of slow-pitch softball game at Wintrust Field! Through the event, we're proud to say that $15,000 was raised for RMHC Chicago and Northwest Indiana! 👏 This was the fifth year for this great event, and we are grateful for our ongoing partnership with the Schaumburg Boomers for letting us play in front of the community at Wintrust Field once again. We were honored to welcome back Kenzie & Roman to emcee with their energetic voices and personalities. The family-friendly atmosphere also offered a special appearance by Ronald McDonald, several more mascots, a beautiful national anthem sung by the Elgin Master Chorale, special guests from RMHC, community partner booths, and many great raffle items. The game on the field featured big plays, monster hits, and loads of fun between the BFR Bears and the police departments. We are so proud of our team for working hard, practicing, and getting our second WIN in a row in the series! 💪 Thank you to everybody who came out to enjoy some fun for a great cause, and we can't wait for next year! 🥳 Elgin Police Department

That’s a wrap for the 2024 NASCAR Chicago Street Race weekend! The Juarez family, who previously stayed with for three months until their boy Declan healed, joined us on Saturday to experience NASCAR for the first time.

On Sunday, our social giveaway winner joined in on the fun and brought the custom NASCAR rug he created himself!
