Red Light! Green Light! School Readiness Skills through Physical Activities
Tuesday, Nov. 12th at 4pm CST
Register at: https://cvent.me/ANzWlR
The early years are a crucial time of growth and physical development for young children. In the context of play and physical activities, children have multiple opportunities to develop gross motor skills using large and small muscles for movement and object control. Moreover, while developing motor competence during play, there is potential for impact on other domains such as social, language and cognitive. Therefore, it is critical that early childhood professionals embed opportunities for physical activities that support developmental goals throughout the preschool day for all young children, including those who may be experiencing delays. In this webinar we will share strategies for creating opportunities for children to engage in physical activities within their already busy preschool day.
Registration closes Tuesday at noon.
