Creating you to be your own brand of yourself.
New chair, New hair, BABE!!!
The Universe has called, and I’m answering. I’m opening my appointment book for sittings, and will be cutting hair behind the chair. After spending the past year focusing on the education aspect of the hair industry, I’m excited to start cutting hair, and sharing my craft in a newfound way. Life has been such an exciting journey, professionally and personally. I cannot wait to connect with all of you to share memories, create new stories, and grow into what’s to come.
I have connected with a duo that owns a beautiful private salon in Downtown Barrington. The atmosphere perfectly aligns with how my craft has evolved, and I cannot wait to share this space with all you that join me.
You can find my online APPOINTMENT BOOK linked below. If you haven’t sat in my chair in the past year, please review the updated structure for appointment setting.
Come one, come all… lets create some beautiful hair.
Hey there Friends! So I originally had a post all planned out to just copy and paste in this moment, that was going to professionally articulate this sudden shift in my journey as a hairdresser. But even though it was crafted from the heart, it still felt inauthentic… This announcement is actually pretty monumental for myself to make, so I just wanted to type now from a pure heart. ❤️
I’m setting down the scissors, and I’m closing the doors to my studio today. All of our appts forward are canceled.
Boom! There it is… I RIPPED the BandAid off and said it. Now… let’s see which hairs still stick to it.
On the real though, I know this may come as a surprise to some of you. But… I received an offer for a really cool role, in a different part of the hair industry. It was an offer that came in fast, I had to strike while the iron was hot, and jump onto an already moving train. Honestly… it’s all exciting none the less!
On the real real… I know we have appts lined up in the future. But the cool thing about me, is that I know a lot of fu***ng rad hairdressers, and I will be making some sincere and thoughtful and honest referrals for each of my clients into my trusted network of hairdressers.
On the really real real too… seriously, fu***ng love every single person that has supported me in this major chunk of my career. If you’re still reading… this January actually marks twenty years of me doing hair. To be even more uncanny, I received this new job offer, on the 20 year anniversary of my Cosmetology School start date. I will be sharing more about that role in a different post sometime in the future, because it’s something I’m excited about and definitely feel it deserves it’s own spotlight.
But really… Thank You to outerspace and back for every single strand of support from all of you that have sat in my chair and followed me over the years.
Please be patient with me as I have a lot of moving parts going on with this transition.
