Midland Health’s COVID-19 tip Tuesday is expanded vaccine eligibility.

Midland Health has expanded vaccine eligibility. If you are in the following groups, you are encouraged to sign-up at midlandhealth.org/vaccine:

• Caregivers: Part time and full time caregivers in the community are encouraged to sign up. You do not have to be employed by a caregiving agency to be eligible for the vaccine.
• Chronic Diseases: The state’s list is not comprehensive. If you have any chronic medical condition that may cause a more complicated course of infection, please sign up.
• Obesity: If you have a BMI of 30 or higher, you are eligible to receive the vaccine.
• Public Service Workers: Midland Health recognizes theses additional groups as public service workers – city and county employees as well as all school personnel. Please be prepared to provide your badge at the time of your vaccine.

If you are a Burleson resident who has previously signed up on Tarrant County Health Department’s waitlist, we encourage you to also sign up on Burleson’s website. Burleson Public Health is in the process of acquiring Burleson resident’s names from Tarrant County’s database, but in the meantime, please sign up on the city of Burleson's vaccine list. After you register on Burleson's vaccine site you will see a page with a QR code on it. Please print out the QR code, screenshot it or write down the information.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE any additional confirmation emails or phone calls. The QR page is your confirmation.
