During the pandemic, the USDA issued waivers allowing all students to eat school meals at no cost. However, this program ended for SY2022-23, leaving millions of students at risk and forcing schools to take on skyrocketing unpaid meal debt that must be paid out of education funds. The only solution to ensure, safe, healthy and affordable school meals for every school student is for Congress to pass legislation that will provide them for all students free of charge–permanently. This why SNA has created a petition urging President Biden and the U.S. Congress to provide meals to all students at no charge.

Help us get to 10,000 by signing your name at www.change.org/p/every-child-deserves-nutritious-school-meals-free-of-charge, then share the link with your friends!

What's the difference between a flatbread and a pizza? Around 20% of consumers say that they think it's a more upscale version of regular pizza, according to Datassential, while around 1/3 of people say flatbreads have more interesting toppings.

Well, that's **definitely** true for this pear and bacon flatbread recipe from Eat Canned Pears!

Pepperoni is great, of course, but maybe it's time to mix things up on pizza day. Asian BBQ Chicken Pizza from Kikkoman might be just the ticket.
