Our CEO, Betsy Frantz, attended the Arlington County Crime Solvers (ACCS) 2024 Law Enforcement Awards Luncheon today at Busboys and Poets Shirlington. The event celebrated the dedication of our law enforcement teams, led by Arlington County VA Sheriff's Office's Sheriff Jose Quiroz and The Arlington County Police Department's Chief Andy Penn, for their commitment to keeping our community safe.

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to recognize and honor the vibrant cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities. It's a celebration of diversity, unity, and rich traditions that have shaped our world in so many beautiful ways.

Oh, what a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company BBQ & Bourbon fundraiser to benefit PathForward! The crowd was joyful, the food delicious, the KO Distilling bourbon top-notch, the Ladywood Live band talented, the restaurant staff gracious (and also talented!), the raffle competitive...using all our adjectives to say how grateful we are for our community's support.

On World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day, we recognize our clients' journeys to stability and dignity.

Meet Kevin. After two years of homelessness, Kevin has now found a place to call home. Sal, his PathForward case manager, visited him recently, bringing essential items like pots and pans, bedding, and dinnerware, helping Kevin begin this new chapter of his life.

Kevin, a talented musician, once used his skills to provide music therapy to children in Kenya affected by AIDS, a passion that still drives him. He’s now working on a new album reflecting his personal journey and selling handmade leather goods locally. His story is a testament to resilience and hope.

Throughout his journey, Kevin has expressed profound gratitude for PathForward’s support.

Last year alone, we provided 38,738 meals, and it’s through partnerships with organizations like CareFirst that we can continue delivering vital, healthy meals to those in need.
