Unstuck Labs is always excited to welcome entrepreneurs from different countries. These past couple weeks Unstuck Labs has welcomed some special visitors from Department funded program Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI). All the way from Colombia, Panama, and Argentina Julian, Karen, and Cristina found their way to our Unstuck Tuesday sessions. Here are some of the cool innovations they are a bringing to the world:

Julian is embracing customized AI and junior talent to help small businesses in Colombia master the marketing game.

Karen is tackling the ed-tech world in Panama by creating an AI toolkit to help students explore and connect with careers that are best fit them.

Cristina is focusing on understanding the software needs of IP lawyers in Argentina.

Yesterday we had a great Unstuck Tuesday session - a dozen innovators from not only the DMV but also France, India, and Panama! Here were some key takeaways:

Bootstapping your startup? Stuck on how to get traction when resources are limited?

One founder asked: "How are we supposed to show investors that we are engaging users on the platform when we don't have the enough money to create or pay for an MVP?"

Our Advice: Keep it simple. Think about what you need to demonstrate or prove with your MVP, and focus on that alone. Remember that an MVP doesn't have to be perfect.

Investors love data that shows traction. Track your progress and your user engagement. Data is everything. Show it, don't just say it.

Calling all women in tech (or interested in learning)! Last week Unstuck Labs attended the TechDuels Augmented Intelligence vs Artificial Intelligence (AI) debate at the Arlington George Mason campus. Our savy Moderator, Alexa Tsui, guided us through rebuttals and judges Q&A and the energy in the room was electric! Special shoutout to one of Unstuck Lab's special mentors and supporters for winning the "most valuable debater" award!

Change is scary and new technology can be too. Neither one of these systems completely eliminates the human. While AI isn't 100% error free, design is an iterative process and we are always learning more each day.

Exciting news at Unstuck Labs! We’re thrilled to welcome Gabrielle Reed who is joining Unstuck Labs as a Social Justice Fellow who will be working with the Reyets team on social justice advocacy through artificial intelligence. Special shoutout to Washington Center Internship Program for a wonderful partnership!

Gabby comes to us from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a history buff and has a knack for making playlists to get her team pumped. Gabby will be reaching out to grass root organizations informing them about the social justice platform, Reyets, and expanding community through advocacy work. Gabby dreams of influencing policy and hopes her experience with Reyets will prepare her to lead a successful political campaign one day.

Two weeks ago we had the the opportunity to do a virtual workshop for entrepreneurs in Gaza that left us speechless.

Against every obstacle, against ever challenge they are preserving to solve real problems, and doing it with grace and ingenuity.

This week in partnership with Legacy International and Amideast we spent a full day in person with a group from Jerusalem, the West Bank, and other parts of Palestine at Unstuck Labs offices for an innovation and hackathon day!

All I have to say is wow they are impressive, each and every single one of them! Engaged, insightful and full of potential.

My highlight of the day, is when one of the groups members said “…wow you blow our minds, now we know so much is possible”
