• Adernats Cava Rose: How excited am I to have my favorite Cava now in Rose? Gorgeous and balanced and oh so bubbly. We’re loving the fresh picked strawberry and raspberry notes paired with a creamy finish.
• Grochau Cellars Pinot Noir “Commuter Cuvee”: Commuter Cuvee was the first Willamette Pinot Noir we carried when we opened our doors in 2016. After a looooong hiatus, it has returned! Grochau Cellars is a labor of love for John and Kerri Grochau - a reflection on their love for Oregon, their philosophy is to “resist the urge to do too much.” Bright and juicy with bing cherry, cola, earthy undertones and baking spices.
• Sacco Vignaioli Apuli Terra MIJ: Nero di T***a is the least well known of Puglia’s three main red varietals but dang am I glad to have discovered it. A lovely combination of bold dark fruit - think plum and black cherry - and holiday spices but in a remarkably light and fresh body with just a hint of tannin. Balance, structure, finesse. An excellent pairer for your grill, in all seasons.
• Giorgio Gieco Malbec: Take note of the “single vineyard” designation on the front of this bottle - a rarity in co-op heavy Mendoza! Bodega Gieco is a small, family-owned winery making killer Malbec. Plum and cherries mixed with spices.
• Tator Poggio Le Volpi Cabernet Sauvignon: Poggio Le Volpi has knocked it out of the park again. Full and fruity with notes of wild berries and red currant plus baking spice and vanilla. Incredibly smooth with robust fruit, chalky tannins, and a dry finish.
