It was tacos, white chocolate (including her latte!), and Beauty and the Beast roses for the lady who keeps all of our client informed, all of our cases moving, and everything in between! If you’ve been happy with how your case went, she is likely a big reason!

Although Ms. Lawrence has been serving the Hampton Roads community as an attorney and business owner for the better part of a decade, today we celebrated the second anniversary of Lawrence Law as her solo practice!

We are thankful to our clients for making each year better than the last and look forward to continued advocacy and success with each passing year!

This past year’s growth was so tremendous that we have now scaled down our practice areas to only transactional work such as wills, trusts, and estates or litigation work in family law, criminal defense, and traffic matters. We are happy to help anyone in need of straightforward advice and/or “take-no-prisoners-advocacy” in those types of matters.

This week was a DUI with elevated BAC, and other lesser infractions, which was agreeably reduced to Reckless Driving and the other infractions were thrown out.

In matters of law and life, remember that strength is not unnecessarily instigating, prodding, or hurting others merely because you are down or out. Strength is keeping your head held high and doing the next right thing even when under attack.

There is no problem using vinegar when you need to, but you catch more flies with honey.

In case you were wondering what happened with that May 24th oral argument before the Court of Appeals…

We won.

Today’s practice of law included virtual oral argument before the Virginia Court of Appeals on a motion to suppress which was appealed by the Commonwealth.
