My client is a natural soft makeup type of chic so I was beyond excited when she showed mevher Sarah Jake's inspiration to go off of.

We didn't go with the rose gold shimmer she used since she also had a gorgeous blue dress that we had to factor in.

I always...I mean always forget to take a before picture and you can see I already started on her brows and eyes...😂

She doesn't like a lot of makeup but she had to go all the way for her bday!

I adore soft glam! I realized the cut creases, rhinestones and dramatic eye work is not me! If you want that, I’m not the right MUA for you. However, I can do it. My goal is to make every woman look like the best version of themselves so within shines forward. My client Victoria Jackson doesn’t wear foundation on a normal bases, she doesn’t wear lipsticks or jewelry etc; shes a subtle gem. So I wanted to give her a bit of sparkle, a natural glow that gave healthy skin and a lip color that complimented her eyes and that didn’t take her out her comfort zone but made her feel beautiful, I think I understood the assignment.

Ladies, this is the beginning of my trend; get comfy it’s going to be a beautiful ride.

Let me tell yall how this stayed put through the test of tears and time!!! I pat and pat through service with tissue, blew my nose, and wiped away tears and wore a mask at the grocery store for about 2hrs. Came home, took this picture at about 9pm and it was still in place!! All I did was use my beauty sponge to take some of the excess oil off my face, which you can still see peak through in my photo BUT BABY aint come to play!

I'm putting my other go to matte foundation on the shelf for awhile...
