FDD's don't hold the answers and sometimes can make things more confusing. Case in point - a major QSR brand lists 54 separate LLC's in their FDD - different names different states. To anyone reading it, it would look like 54 independent single-unit operators - when in fact, it is owned by one unlisted company. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon at all. Our Information Management team uncovers these gems all the time.
