The Pet Fur'tographer

Nov. 2002, she took the photo for SBC Yellow Page phonebook. It was moving company sponsoring ASPCA. They wanted a photo of dogs moving their dog house. So she took her yellow lab mix Cody & put him in the driver's seat & took my friend's dogs which was big black German Shepard in passenger seat of this convertible & small dog with dog house in back seat. The dogs look like they were moving their dog house. She received recognition that took the photo & received a $1,000 listing in the phone book.

Nov. 2003 to July 2004, The SBC phonebook advertise using the pet photo she took on 20 billboards around Dallas one year & the next year in Fort Worth.

Feb. 2003, she took the front cover photo for Bloodlines Dog Magazine. It's a photo of a French Massive puppy. The owners show this dog & submitted photo for the yearbook. The photo ended up on the front cover of the Bloodlines Dog Magazine.

Nov. 2003, she took the front cover photo for Pet Gazettes. A customer submitted the photo of her 2 dogs for Cinco de Mayo to the magazine & she got recognition & a free ad listing in the magazine.

Dec. 2004, The Star Telegram wrote an article on The Pet Fur'tographer's Santa. He has been their Santa since 1986 & voted for the best Santa Paws in DFW area. It's not the first time. The news media is always writing about our Santa. We also do all kinds of Santa events & parties for people also.

Nov. 2005, Laura was nominated to submit photos for a coffee table book called Greater Dallas Visions which Mr. Nasher was the author. It has photos from landscape, flowers, people, animals, builds, etc. taken by a group of nine very high profile and very well-known photographers in the State. It was a very high honor to be associated with the other well-known photographers and Mr. Nasher, which owned Nasher Sculpture Center and Dallas Museum of Art.

Jan. 2006, Laura has developed a website for Laura Long-Edwards Photography.

She takes photos for all kinds of media:

She took the cat photo for Hartland Cat hospital's ad on all the Tom Thumb grocery carts in Grapevine & Euless stores.

She has taken photos for dog, cat & horse shows and events. Fundraiser calendars, pet ads, Alamo & other Pet Clinic's websites, dog breeder's websites, pet clothes & accessories websites.

A company that makes all kinds of pet products such as grooming supplies & etc. used my pet photos on all their labels for their products.

She took photos of kinds of products such as ladies clothing line & accessories, of Legal Décor Arts products & other companies that sale items on websites. She take photos for Real Estate Relators’ media & other commercial business' media/websites. She also takes photos for a classic rock band's cover album & website.

Laura is now carrying on a family legacy in memory of her mother Linda Long. I know her mother is watching over her, like her guardian angel that she is and would be very proud of her daughter’s accomplishments and achievements.
