Starting today, our outdoor bedding plants are discounted 30% off. This does not include Bonnie Plants or houseplants. Discount is taken at the register, no additional discounts can be applied, and as always, all plant sales are final.

To the gentleman in the white T-shirt and FILA hat who spilled your coffee above the children’s books at 3:15 today, we would appreciate it if you would come back and pay us for the merchandise you ruined. If you had told us at the time that you spilled, we could’ve cleaned it up immediately and no merchandise would have been destroyed.

Earlier this week, a customer was looking for a child’s hat they lost in the store. We found it.

It may be overcast and rainy this weekend, but don’t miss our fabulous selection of bedding plants and hanging baskets. Two new plant deliveries this morning makes for a very full sidewalk. And we aren’t busy, so the checkout line is quick!

— Each year, some folks bring us empty plant pots and leave them sitting on the ground out front. Unfortunately our growers will not take them back, so this just makes more work for us. Please recycle them properly at your home.
—We need empty cardboard boxes for folks to take plants home in, so if you’re getting rid of any, we will gladly take those. (Nothing with any food or beverage waste on them, please.)

We are sold out of eclipse viewing glasses.

It has been brought to our attention that the solar eclipse viewing glasses we sold are not on the AAS approved list. The CNN report below specifically mentions the glasses we sold, but says they appear to work fine. We have tested them here, and they block out all light. However, if you have any concerns about them, feel free to return them to us BEFORE 2pm on Monday, April 7 for a full refund. We will not accept them for return after the eclipse has happened.

Fresh off the truck…pansies and cole crop veggies are here!
Our grower says the pansies are hardened off and can be planted now. The veggies can be planted and will be fine down to 30, but if it gets colder than that you’ll need to cover them.

We have updated our picture frame section with a selection of Malden frames. Please check it out the next time you are in.

We are trying to reach the Katherine Thomas who was at Ayers on 2/11. We found something belonging to her.

Our ice melter delivery just arrived. We have 8lb jugs and 20lb bags of pet safe melter. We still have toboggans and shovels as well.

We still have plenty of sleds and shovels in stock. We are low on ice melters but have been told our delivery will be here tomorrow morning. ❄️🛷❄️🛷❄️🛷❄️

Need a toboggan? Shovel? Scraper? Ice melter? We are open and we have plenty!

Just want to say thank you again to all who contributed to the Toys for Tots collection at Ayers. They picked up the box this morning, and you filled the box completely twice and we were halfway to filling it a third time. You guys are amazing!!

If you misplaced a black spiral journal at Ayers this week, we found it - stop by and ask a manager to reclaim it.

This jolly guy will be at Ayers today from 1-3p and again from 4-5p. He’s looking forward to chatting and taking pictures with kids of all ages, and encourages folks to bring a new, unwrapped toy to drop in the Toys for Tots donation box near our register. Thanks to your generosity, they already have emptied our box once. Many thanks to all who donated toys!

It's Toys for Tots time again! We are a drop off point and have a collection box next to the registers. You can help make Christmas special for less fortunate children by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy or book before December 7. Last year, Toys for Tots distributed 24.4 million toys to 9.9 million disadvantaged children.
