A few months ago, we were asked a surprising question… “Will you help us build a network for a library in a remote village in Rwanda?”
And we said...
“Count us in!”
Over the last few months, we’ve donated equipment and lots of time to this project.
And finally…
We just learned that Starlink internet is now LIVE and WiFi is operational at the Sunzu Yacu Library! 💻📚😄
Matthias Lane did a lot of work to make this possible - great job, your fingerprints are all over this one!
We’re so thankful for opportunities like these - thank you to CEF (Christian Economic Forum), Bridge2Rwanda, and the people of Sunzu Yacu. It’s an honor and a privilege to serve you all. 🙏
Finally, here’s a special note from their Librarian and community leader at Sunzu:
We are so happy as a city. My name is Apbolo, I am the librarian at Sunzu Yacu Community Library. 🚨🚨🚨 Update Your Apple iPhone ASAP 🍎📱
Apple patched two zero-day exploits after Citizen Lab discovered them. One exploit allowed hackers to target devices without user interaction using NSO Group's Pegasus malware.
Even the latest iOS 16.6 was vulnerable. Citizen Lab named this exploit "BLASTPASS", linked to Apple Pay's PassKit. Apple's update fixed these vulnerabilities, and iPhone users are urged to update their devices. The NSO Group has not commented on the matter.
