Moments ago news broke that jailed rapped , real name Jeffery Williams, agreed to change his plea to guilty. If approved by the judge, this would bring an end to the long case, which started in 2022 and has made history as Georgia’s longest-running criminal trial, according to NBC News.

The publication adds that,

“The plea change by the rapper appeared on the brink of not happening after Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker asked if he agreed to a nonnegotiated plea. That means prosecutors and the defense could not come to a sentencing deal, and that the judge still ultimately decides his punishment.”

Embattled musician and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs has been arrested, the mogul’s attorney tells CNN.

According to a source, Combs was arrested in a Manhattan hotel on Monday night and is currently being processed. The charges are unclear at this time.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Marc Agnifilo, an attorney for Combs, told CNN.

Combs’ attorney said that the musician has been cooperating with the investigation, and relocated to New York last week in anticipation of being charged. His team maintains his innocence, and says he has “nothing to hide.”

We also want to remind the community that making a threat against a school -- regardless of whether that threat is real or fake -- is a SERIOUS CRIME. We will arrest and file criminal charges against anyone who is responsible for creating threatening posts.

The safety and security of our schools will always be a top priority. We work closely with our partners at AISD to develop robust security plans at all of our campuses -- and all AISD campuses are staffed with School Resource Officers and / or armed security.

We encourage parents to monitor what their kids are posting to social media and to have frank conversations with them about the consequences for posting threatening messages.

An employee at Goodman Elementary School in Arlington is on administrative leave after being accused of tying students up with strings and putting tape over their mouths, according to a statement provided by the Arlington Independent School District.

The district said they learned of the allegations on Sept. 6 and “immediately began an investigation and placed the employee on leave.”
