We’re picking back up with our sermon series on Hebrews 11 this Sunday! Pastor Beth will be bringing us the word and you won’t want to miss it.
We will also be sending an email out on Fridays from now on, updating you on whether or not we will have service indoors or outdoors on Sunday. Make sure to check your emails for that update! If it is going to be too hot, we will move service indoors.
Pastor Joel Afanador preached an incredible sermon yesterday about the woman at the well and her response to Jesus’ conversation with her (If you didn’t get a chance to listen, go back to our last live stream and do so - it is well worth it!).
The Chosen TV Series includes the scene of Jesus with the woman at the well in the last episode of the first season and it is so powerful. If you go to the link below and skip ahead to the time 51:45, you’ll be right at the scene. I would highly recommend watching the whole episode (or the whole show 😊) if you haven’t seen it before!
This scene, along with the sermon from yesterday, will hopefully solidify in our hearts the beauty, importance, and power of sharing with everyone the good things Jesus has done in us and for us! May we remember to always praise and thank Him for every good thing we have!

SERVICE TIME CHANGE: We had so much fun at our in-person outdoor service last week that we want to do it again!
However, this Sunday the forecast looks like it will be quite hot, so -
WE ARE MOVING THE TIME of the SERVICE to 9:30am.
Pastor Beth will only move the service indoors if it looks like we're already going to be in the high 80's or 90's by 9:30am.
Whether INDOORS or OUTDOORS, IN-PERSON or ONLINE, the service start time this week will be 9:30am. Please let others know who may not regularly check their email.
And keep the following in mind for an outdoor service:
We had a wonderful in-person service yesterday - the first since March! The weather was warm, but the breeze was wonderful and the fellowship was even better. Even with social distancing and masks, we were still able to enjoy a great Sunday morning!
Thank you to everyone who joined us online for service yesterday, or in-person! We love worshiping with you all!
We are worshipping IN PERSON this Sunday at 10:30! Praise God! But if you would prefer to continue worshipping online, we'll be providing online services for the foreseeable future. Join us as we hear Pastor Beth talk about how God is faithful even when we leap into the unknown, and as Kevin leads us in worship.
Welcome to Hillside! Please join us this Sunday at 10:30am as Pastor Gio tells us about an unheralded hero of faith. Megan will lead us in worship, and we have an important announcement!
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 for the first in our series on 'Indestructible Faith'! Megan will lead us in worship and Beth will both chat with Shelley about her faith experience and bring God's word to us from Hebrews 11.
Happy Father's Day! Join us at 10:30 for the second in our series on justice and racism. Pastor Beth and Kevin will chat about racism in our community today and how Christians should respond to it. Grab an extra cup of coffee because they can really talk! But the conversation is engaging, funny and challenging. Kevin, Gio and Megan will lead us in worship today.
