Band lab will be back starting in August! It’s out with the old band lab system and in with the new!

We will now offer bands in a weekly ongoing group lesson format rather than our previous 6 week crash course.

We are so excited for where this new band lab system will take our students!

We feel that giving bands the freedom of time to learn songs together in an ongoing weekly cycle will help them to really grow in their performance skills.

Students will now have a much more relaxed time frame to really work together to dial in their rhythms, chords, solos, harmonies and even write original parts and arrangements for songs.

We are happy to offer the monthly group rate for band lab which is currently $125 per month.
Band lab will run in 45 minute weekly sessions, but potentially be extended to an hour leading up to our big performances.

This year we are offering both rock bands and classical bands, as we have introduced violin and several other fun instruments such as accordion and harp, (which tend to lend themselves more towards classical genres.) But don’t worry we will still have many fun rock bands going on with all our drummer/bass/guitar enthusiasts.

We are offering multiple levels for band lab, starting at what we would call entree level, meaning a student is starting from scratch with no prior music exposure or lessons, mid level bands, for students who have had some lessons and are ready to put their knowledge to work, all the way up to advanced level, where students have taken several years of lessons and want to play with other skilled high/level musicians.

We will do our best to match students with the right band members! So what we need from you is this:
-Evening or weekend times you have open for band lab.
-Skill level you’d like to be matched with
1. Entree level
2. Mid level
3. Advanced level

For new groups to be started we require 3 new students to begin together, so some people prefer to grab a couple friends and schedule their own new group class if these class times aren't ideal for their schedule.

It’s almost time for Creative Kids and Creative Teens summer camps! Make sure and register today on our website! The kid camp runs Monday-Friday 9-11:30, the teen camp runs Monday-Friday 12-3:00.

After many requests for violin classes, we are stoked to be kicking off this fun new class starting in June, on Tuesday evenings, 5-5:30. 🎻

Starting in June we will be offering violin, harp, and accordion lessons for those interested in learning some new fun instruments at Village Creative!

These are a few of our hardworking students who received the legacy award today, for sticking with music for 2+ years.
Sticking it out when it gets hard, when you get distracted, when you get frustrated, when you hit a wall, etc etc, is how you become a real musician!
Time and practice is what talent is made of. We are so proud of the work ethic they have developed in working on their craft over the past couple of years.

For bands, the kids can choose their band name and draw some artwork for it. Then, we use their artwork to create a custom t shirt for them to wear on performance day.
See you guys at the concert in the park (Heritage Square Park) this Sunday, 3-6!

Village Creative is closed for Spring Break, but will be back open again April 16 for culinary lab. Have a great week spending time with your fam!
