3rd… I miss out. My family misses out. I don’t get paid unless someone is physically here.

So many layers to this pandemic. You think you are doing fine and have it all figured and and boom life knocks you on your ass and reminds you their in charge.
Raising teenagers is hard. So hard. Nothing prepares you for the constant worry you feel about contributing a human to adulthood. They worry in intense and so heavy! Trying to take my own advice, but man this is so hard sometimes.

Dimension is the key in transitioning your summer balayage clients to a fall balayage. Adding depth and bumping up some lighter pieces creates beautiful autumn hues.

I understand that this is a very confusing time. It’s hard for us all to even make sense of it. So I want to assure you all I am here to stay as long as I am allowed. Holiday Stylist Season 2020. Those days when your only break you get is to go to the bathroom! Sometimes you have to look yourself in the mirror and grab the bull by the horns. Today I did just that: I put eyelash extensions on myself 😂. Some call it crazy and some call it wizardry, but I call it mastery! I have very oily skin and sleep predominantly on my right side. So in turn right eye looks eventually looks homeless, but my left eye always looks like she’s ready for a photo shoot. In the beauty world the holidays are the busiest time of year. I had to get something in that gap before my appointment next week. Thankful and can’t wait for 🖤

Public Service announcement! It’s ok to not be ok right now. Times are hard. Take some extra time for yourself. Take a walk. Get out and get some sun. And if you don’t have the energy to, that’s ok too. If you need an ear, I am here! If you need a pick me up, come see me!

This week I am TRYING to set the intention to be more mindful of the way I let my body and soul react to uncertainty. My anxiety has been high these last few weeks as each day cases are rising here in Colorado. I am trying to keep a positive outlook on it all. Trying to spin a negative into a positive. I have to admit that it is so HARD. 😔

Do they really have more fun? 😂 Last week I had the opportunity to add some slight depth back into this beautiful head of hair. I helped her go from summer blonde to a more fall blonde.

Can we all agree on one thing? TGIF! Finding out that all Jefferson county schools are going remote soon has crushed our world. Feeling all the feels for little girl. Hoping we can make it through the rest of the year. To all my fellow moms out there.... I FEEL you. Thankful I got to see today to give her these lashes. So full and oh so fun!
