A top-level wrestler at Arvada West high school, 17-year-old Landon initially came to our office with a shoulder impingement and strain, concerned he would miss a rivalry meet as well as regionals. Dr. Tom completed two sessions of SoftWave on Landon, flipping the script on an injury that initially could have had him sitting on the bench to standing on the podium! We feel blessed to help this young man perform at his best!
Homemade relish, fresh baked sourdough bagels and sweet notes… we are really feeling the love from our patients this week!
Welcome Bleau, our first canine patient at BWSS! This sweet boy is 9 years old and has been suffering from arthritis and joint pain in his front paws and ankles. We used a round of SoftWave on each front leg to reduce inflammation and accelerate the body's own healing process. His owner was delighted to report significant improvement after just 24 hours - Bleau was running, pouncing and playing like his younger self! We can't wait to see what this good boy will do with continued SoftWave therapy!

- "Tech Neck" is the term used to describe the symptoms of headaches, neck pain, and poor posture attributed to the forward head posture often associated with using your phone, tablet, and computer.
- Taking a break from our mobile devices every 15 minutes can help reduce the likelihood of developing recurring neck pain and headaches.

Spondylolisthesis is a spinal disorder in which a bone (vertebra) slips forward onto the bone below it.
Spondylolisthesis risk factors include high-impact sports, such as gymnastics and football. Genetics may put some people at increased risk. Spondylolisthesis is a condition that can create spine instability, which means the vertebrae move more than they should. Slippage and instability can put pressure on your spinal nerves, which could cause lower back pain or leg pain.
The word spondylolisthesis (pronounced spohn-di-low-less-THEE-sis) comes from the Greek words spondylos, which means "spine" or "vertebra," and listhesis, which means "slipping, sliding or movement." In many cases, spondylolisthesis can be successfully treated conservatively with chiropractic care. Find out how and schedule an appointment today by calling us at 7204643200.
Enjoy the present and not worry about the future; live for the moment.
Is your child connected to a phone, computer, or tablet during and after school? Think about it. Many of us aren't more than an arm's length from our phone at any time (even when we are sleeping).
Spending time every day looking down at our devices can place a lot of stress on the supporting muscles of our neck and lead to an uptick in headaches. It's a condition called "Tech Neck," and it's one of the most common causes of headaches and neck pain.
