Saint Construction
Saint Construction is a growing construction company that is owned by two brothers, Eric & Chris Saint, located in southern end of Rhode Island.
We specialize in quality custom homes and house teardown renovations. We take enormous pride in our work.
You’re looking at the back of the Mystic house. The pool is to the left and Ipe boards are in the front right corner, stacked & prepped to be used for decking.
Always an exciting time, when the kitchen cabinets arrive and the installation begins. . .
After this entire crew finished
eating on Pizza Friday, Dan kept commenting on what a perfect summer day it was. He then stood up and proceeded to say, that the crew should finish eating and take the rest of the day off. AND that he would pay! Now I ask you? Who does that? Well, Dan does and this team will long remember and are greatly appreciative of his generosity and kindness. The entire Saint Construction team says, thank you !
Some beautiful 8 x 8 tile adding some flare to the Laundry room
Nice view of the garage/studio with the painting completed.
Trusses going up on the garage today . . .
Nice view of the back of the front house. Notice the pool on the left side. I was standing in the balcony of the garage.
Some interesting framing to view before it gets covered with plywood.
Chuck J. Lyons passed away late Sunday morning to his battle with cancer at the age of 61. He was affectionately know to us at Saint Construction as ‘Chuckster’ for over 20 years. The crew stopped by last Friday for our final farewell, and oddly enough it was filled with many jokes, memories and laughter. Chuck had a great sense of humor and some of the guys had know him for many years. For me (Linda) he was my right hand man on the rental properties. I have never seen a guy take such pride in his work, whether it be painting, mowing the lawns or simply cleaning up the apartment. I will honestly be lost without him. For Saint Construction he was the guy that quietly ran the dump truck, picked up supplies, and all the countless odds and ends that need to be done on a construction site, and never without a complaint. The words, “ Let’s get Chuckster to handle that” will always ring in my ears. So rest in peace my sweet Chuckster. You were greatly loved and will be greatly missed . . .
Here’s a snapshot featuring the back of the front house and the front of the garage, with the garage doors tucked away in the rear. A pool sits snugly between the two, adding a touch of relaxation. Completing the setup will be a connecting pergola, tying everything together in a simple yet elegant fashion.
Our traditional ‘Lineup’ photo, taken after the kids bring over our rather tall tree, the kids string the lights and the grandkids hang the ornaments. Two clicks with a tripod and I think we nailed it. Thanks everyone for a great, crazy, funny day! Oh and I love my tree! 🌲

Missing from photo was Ellie who was home sick. And Ella who’s away at college.
I always take photos before a project begins. This one tells the story of transformation of the rear of the property. I think Wow, describes it! You can see the Pool in the bottom left corner. 🏊♂️
Early morning visit to the site and I decided to look up . . .
Starting to dig the new foundation for the house we had moved.
Pool is looking amazing. . .
Not your ordinary garage. . .
I’m standing on the back deck facing the garage/studio and you can now see the lay out of the pool, which will be connecting the front and back house (garage/studio). Now that will be amazing. . .
A favorite photo of mine. Simple yet elegant. Oval spacer for a screen wall showing our teams skill and craftsmanship. Made from also a favorite hardwood, Mahogany . . .
Here’s the front view of the Mystic house . . .
Here’s a couple of progress photos of the Mystic project. The garage will have an Office/Workout room on the second floor with a sweet balcony that Markus is smiling under, and a nice view of the Mystic River. The garage doors are in the rear which aren’t shown. In between the back of the front house and this garage/office will be the Pool and courtyard.
Getting ready for the big move . . .
I’m standing on the steps of the front door with the sunshine pouring in. The two cement areas will be a double sided fireplace with built in bookcases on either sides. The second photo shows the kitchen area with the french doors that opened out to a porch. Third photo is also taken from the kitchen looking towards the double fireplace and front door. Hope that gives you an idea of what’s going on. But the guys are in back of the house now building the garage. Just thought I’d give you all an update. . .
Guess where these are going . . .
This is the two bay garage the guys are building at the Mystic house. The space where the Lull is sitting is will be the Pool/Patio area. I took this photo from the 2nd floor window in the front house. I really need to get my Drone down there. . .
Place is looking much better with our trucks out of there and the landscapers starting to spread the mounds of topsoil. Next will be sod planted around the pool area for that ‘instant’ finish lawn and will be the perfect finishing touch in wrapping up this project.
Armac Martin Hardware waiting to be installed.
Finally, the tarps are peeled off exposing the slab of marble that’s been hidden ever since it’s installation. The cabinet hardware has just arrived and is being installed, which will be a vast improvement over the blue tape. It’s those last final details that pull it all together. . .
Mystic house update: We pulled off the main house, waiting for delivery of special wood for the Bay Windows, and started building the garage in the rear of the property.
Cove Crown Molding, simple, yet adds such elegance. . .
