There's a new elephant in the room, I guess it's time to address it. Agent Elvis.

I must admit, I wasn't expecting much from this cartoon and I got what I expected, not much. I watched a few minutes of it, then turned it off. I couldn't believe what I saw. It was disgusting.

After turning it off, a few hours later I thought. Give it a chance and watch it again. So, I watched the full episode. I sat there in disbelief. They took something Elvis was proud of, his being a DEA agent and made it a spoof.

Elvis was no prude, far from it, but to throw out F-bombs just for the sake of entertainment is ridiculous. He wouldn't do that.

Scatter(the monkey) was pretty much the way they portrayed him, except he didn't shoot guns, drive cars or smoke pot. lol

Some of you may like it, and that's okay if you do. Just don't try to convince me to like it. Remember, I know Elvis, the real Elvis. You don't.

In closing, my thoughts are. They had a chance to do something that would be entertaining but failed. They could have made an animated series like Elvis did in his movies. But, make him as a secret agent, and play some of his songs in the series. Make it family oriented. Like his movies. But, no. The creators choose to take it in a direction that Elvis wouldn't approve.

It's sad watching my brother being reduced to cartoon character.
