BAMAVL is using this app to help the community stay connected to not only BAMAVL and our programs but to other resources and programs in our community. Safe plus more is an easy convenient way to have all the resources you need on your phone. It allows us to check in with our clients/community by sending notifications, newsletters, educational tools, etc.… all within one place in the app. It allows app users to feel empowered to seek help without having to put in the work of searching aimlessly online. i.e., Are you struggling with mental health? Go on the app search the topic “mental health” the app shows resources from treatment, life coaching, to self-help tools to choose from. You decide on what kind of support you need and go from there. Received a DWI and don’t know what to do? Go to the app search “DWI” and you will find DWI Lawyers, DWI Providers, laws, and more. BAMAVL will add to the app and update when necessary.

Starting By Any Means AVL was a journey of passion and purpose for us. The inspiration came from the powerful words of Malcolm X's speech "by any means necessary" and the community service programs during his time and the programs that followed.
Both Malcolm X and the Black Panther Party were not just advocates for the black community, but they were also active participants in community development. We are deeply moved by their commitment to uplift their communities and wanted to continue that legacy in our own way as well as add and help support others in community development.
Our family has always been a beacon of strength and resilience, paving the way for us and those after them. We wanted to honor their legacy, by creating what our family has created for us, a platform that promotes empowerment, a space to serve and give back. By Any Means AVL is our tribute to them, a testament to their struggles and triumphs. We believe that by empowering individuals, we can create a ripple effect that will positively impact the entire community.
Starting this business was not just about creating a non-profit organization, it was about creating and building onto a movement. A movement that promotes empowerment, community support, and overall wellness. We are excited about the journey ahead and committed to making a positive impact in our community, By Any Means…
