Asheville Beverage is looking for a talented and fun bartender to lead our team! Shifts are mostly weekend evenings with some weeknight and daytime events. Hourly rates starting at $15/hr plus tips. Must be comfortable making cocktails and familiarity with draft systems and events is a plus!

As the lead bartender, you will get first dibs on all available shifts and be expected to be available most weekends, or request time off with advance notice. Weekly schedule varies by the season, but we have lots of work available for the fall/winter!

Delivery work is also available with a clean driving record.

Another cool beer spot opening in Asheville! 🍻

Listen up! This is gonna be RAD! 🤘 Asheville, we're opening a THIRD location in the River Arts District that's radically different from our South Slope and Big Top spots. Our 7th taproom (gasp!) is actually going to be an open-air beer garden constructed entirely from upcycled shipping containers AND it's going to be attached to a big distribution center that'll allow us to get our beer in your hands more efficiently. While we have continued to expand well beyond Asheville and even North Carolina since we first opened our doors in 2013, we're excited to continue strengthening our local community with this third Asheville location, and we’re thankful to be able to provide more jobs to the city and create a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. ⁣⁣

Opening this summer at 282 Lyman St across the tracks from some awesome local eateries and art galleries, our new 25,233 sq. ft. location (about the same size as Big Top) is situated in the heart of the River Arts District, which just received a massive infrastructure investment and a new greenway. The RAD Beer Garden, featuring a twenty-four-tap bar, will take up about 2500 sq. ft. of the building itself while another 5000 sq. ft. beer garden made up of 9 metal shipping containers will be constructed in front of the facility to the right side. We're going to cut out the containers’ walls to create open-air seating but keep the roofs to provide sun and weather protection. Once it's finished, the beer garden will seat ~350 people, and we're hoping to move all of our beer festivals and big events typically held at the Big Top to this new spot. As always, the RAD container beer garden will have the same fun, relaxed, and approachable vibe as our other locations just in a new, eclectic outdoor setting. Meanwhile, Big Top will continue to be our company headquarters and where all of our major beer production occurs, and our South Slope Specialty Brewery will still be our creative hub featuring our pilot system and sour & wild ale program.⁣⁣

Why are we opening another location less than 10 min from two other taprooms, you ask? Well we're just straight up out of room. Since we opened Big Top in 2016, we've added another eight states to our distro footprint and opened three taprooms outside of Asheville, and we're working on a fourth in Louisville, KY as we speak. While Big Top still has room to grow when it comes to producing beer, we have been over storage capacity for brewing supplies and finished product storage for a while now. This dedicated distribution facility will create more space for our amazing production team and make shipping much easier and more efficient. Plus it gives us another place to welcome beer-loving friends for great brews and good times!⁣⁣⁣⁣

And all that extra space means... we can finally show Big Top the big love it deserves! 🙌 We're talking interactive games like soccer pool, colorful new murals, an expanded beer garden, and increased seating coming this summer. It wouldn't be Asheville without some rad art, so both spaces will feature murals and metalwork from incredible local creators. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
