I am laughing at the fact art critics never considered artists writing on their own work... apparently theyve never had the heartwrenching satisfaction of creating something they deem beautiful, only to scribble over it or destroy it out of sheer disgust at existence.

Then executive dysfunction took over after I attempted to figure out how to edit this design onto a mask... but there's blood so I learned that's a no go for masks apparently, but fine for tshirts?

And then my dog was being cute. So I had to immediately stop and go frolicking with the dog.

So my etsy store was suspended, a customer opened a case against me at 9am, they stated they didn't get their package (a mask), according to the tracking info, it was delivered to their mailbox on the 27th, the customer claimed my shop wasnt there anymore(?), that they wanted tracking info to prove I'd sent it, and a refund.
Had I been given time to respond, I would have happily given the customer a refund anyway because I want to ensure my customers are taken care of and happy. I know theft happens with packages, and I'm pretty empathetic. Unfortunately I didn't see the email until 9pm, same day.
At 5:43pm etsy suspended my account and intervened by giving the customer a full refund, and subsequently removed my shop.
So, I contacted the support team, sent pictures and a link to the tracking info of said package to prove it wasn't a random SS. They got my info, and I'd asked them if they could at least relay the tracking info to the customer since my account was suspended and I was unable to message the customer due to etsy suspending me the very same day a case claim was made. (Seller has 3 days to respond, or they face suspension)
The support team member "Shiana" told me that my account is now banned, and she would have to end the chat, and to please not contact Etsy any further.

I'm really sorry to the individual who did not get their package, that is upsetting to feel like I'll never be able to right that for them as I'm sure the customer was bummed too. I'm glad etsy did at least one right thing by refunding them, though I would have liked to do that myself.
I'm sure they didn't mean for Etsy to ban me, unfortunately Etsy bans and suspends artists really quickly and due to having under 100 sales, they didn't think twice about just yeeting me instead of giving me a chance to take care of the customer.

I'll be moving to RedBubble in the future and I'll let y'all know when it happens!

I attempted to make a tiktok today, and I was temporarily banned before I could post anything for violating community guidelines, when I asked why and what guidelines I violated so I could perhaps avoid it or adapt my art to make it tiktok safe.. They added another day to the ban.
