Sometimes, it’s about more than just the look! Getting a haircut can be hard- it’s bright, noisy, an unfamiliar social situation, you’re decision making on the spot, and being touched by a stranger?? It’s a lot!
We want you to have your best experience so we have tons to offer- fidget squishies, silent appointments, masked appointments, ear plugs, and no weird looks for wanting to wear your sunglasses inside 💋 Plus a very patient Frog who wants to see you as comfortable as you can be!

Want to see if you’ll feel comfortable in our salon, or want to ask for other accommodations? DM me or book a free consultation!

Did you know that we are time based? Because of that, we encourage you to always reach out to your stylist if you have any questions about what to book. We are strictly online booking, and do our best to give you descriptors for what we can get done in the time allowed. We also have a mini consultation form when you book to help us ensure you get booked for the right amount of time.

But never stop reaching out. We’re here to help. We choose hourly booking, because we love the individuality of each appointment, the communication between artist and client, and the transparency of what you’re paying for. And for most of our stylists, gratuity is included.

I have to say, I’m obsessed with this cut and color I did for

She’s usually more of a wavey hair girly, but I blew her out and tousled and I’m obsessed. I do love a good blow out lately.

I finished cosmetology school in 2023 and have been apprenticing with Jo since I graduated. It is my favorite place I've ever worked 💗
I am a visual and creative person who enjoys caring for things and other beings! I love plants, crocheting, creatures, nice people, and being silly 🤡
Learning to do hair has been an awesome journey thus far, and it has become one of my main creative outlets! I also love and strive to make people feel heard and cared for. People usually describe me as sweet and patient.

Hey people!! Wether you know me, think you know me, or just came to this page. I thought I’d come on here and tell y’all a little about me. My name is Jo. I’m a Q***r Trans Human who has done hair since I was 12 yrs old. I own a tiny 3 chair salon in Athens, GA and our focus is being a Q***r Safe space. I’ve been doing hair professionally since 2011. I’ve traveled all over the U.S. to educate salons and other humans about creating a safer space for the LGBTQIA+ community. I take my role as a Q***r elder very seriously. I was lucky enough to grow up in the Q***r community and I know what it has meant to me to have Q***r elders in my life. People who have accepted me right away, held space for me and even understood me. This is my mission. To hold space for my community, through impact, through safe space, through self care.

I turn 40 next year. And my Glow Up is so real. I’m proud of myself. I’ve stood to face my demons and they’ve stared back. And today I know I’m becoming friends with all of them. 🫶🖤

I want to share a bit about color magick! ❤️🧡💛💚💙

And also show off that I felt like a fairy last night in my lil crochet top hehe ✨

Color has always been a huge part of my practice and honestly just every aspect of my life. My favorite colors are constantly changing because it really depends on what energy I’m calling in.

I’m so grateful to for this hair cut & color. They always know how to intuitively guide what colors I need in my life and I feel like this orange & pink combination is exactly what I need as I work through healing a lot of sexual/self love trauma.

Ask yourself what colors you’ve been drawn to lately. What magickal or psychological associations do you have with those colors? Is it time to embrace the colors around you- or maybe you should consider changing it up a bit to call in some new energy 😎

I’ve been trying to be very intentional about what colors I’m filling my space with- or what colors I’m wearing around each day.

Here are some of my personal color associations. Remember to always do your own research and trust your own intuition above all else!!
