1st day in the books!!! 🥲

To all my wonderful clients and everyone who has been following me...IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED!!! I've moved into my new location and I'll be open there starting Tuesday, April 9th. It's been one hell of a ride to say the least but I'm very grateful for everyone who has helped me along the way.

Many thanks to Ana F. Jessica K., Shelley L., April and Jake R., Maggie K., Christina F., Jodie and Bart L., Kimberly H., and Arianna C. for helping with a lot of the hard stuff! You all did SO MUCH for me and I'm so grateful❤️ 

Also, it's VERY important that I thank all of those who gave me advice, ideas, encouragement and support. Especially on the days where it felt like everything was going wrong and I was often close to tears. I wish I could list everyone but I'll run out of space, haha. Just know it makes my heart so full to have you all in my life❤️

Thanks so much to Randy's Dad and Uncle for building the columns, for painting and everything else. They let us use their supplies, tools and scaffolding to get it all done. It was a lot of work and their personal time to come on their days off to help me and I don't take that for granted.

Most recently, thank you Katie, Harold and Harvey for helping me move. And Andrew for helping me get the last few things that were too big for me to get by myself. You guys made it a lot more fun and so much easier!

Last, but definitely not least, I want to thank Randy. When I first got the crazy idea, Randy told me he believed I could do it and whatever I decided he fully supported me. He's listened to everything from ideas, to complaining and everything in between. I'll admit, I haven't been the most pleasant at times, but he was always there helping me get the work done no matter what. I couldn't have found a better person to help♥️

I'll wrap up this super long post by saying the space will still be a work in progress for a little bit. I encourage people to tell me what they think and I'm excited to hear any new ideas that you want to see in the salon world. I look forward to this new journey and I welcome you all to The Colorwheel Salon ❤️💛🧡💚💙💜

To all my wonderful clients, I have big news! Today was my last day working at The Loft Hair and Spa Salon and I am temporarily moving to a new location on Richland Avenue to further grow myself as a stylist in Athens. To all my clients with existing appointments, I will be finishing up transferring them to a new booking system and you will will be hearing from me when the new texts go out. Once everyone is transferred I will open my online booking for future appointments. The new location will be at Luxe Beauty and Esthetics by the Ace Hardware. I look forward to seeing you all there!

In addition to that, I want to say thank you to Barb and my coworkers. I want to make it very clear that my time and experience at The Loft was great❤️ Barb and my coworkers are all wonderful people and she has built a beautiful business and salon. Do not hesitate at all to go there and be pampered. They will take care of you should you need nails, waxing or a last minute appointment if I am fully booked. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to grow while I was there and they helped give me the self confidence and encouragement I never had before. With that, I am ready and excited for this part of my journey and I hope that you all will join me on this new adventure!

I had a little free time this afternoon and got to meet Peaches! She is such a cuddly sweetheart and I hope someone adopts this BEAUTIFUL lady. Plus, look at those earrisistable EARS and perfect smile!!!😁🧡🧡🧡

I don't have many pictures of this particular session but it is the start of a hair journey to a fun new color! We are working with an old demi color and slowly removing it to keep the integrity of the hair while still moving towards her goal color! Stay tuned, there will be more! 🔥
