Athens Impact Socially Responsible Investments

This morning Holly and I joined the Athens Friends and Newcomers group filling food boxes at the food pantry in Logan. It was a lot of fun and we filled almost 500 boxes. I joined a few of the members for lunch at 58 West Brewery. Lunch was fantastic. I highly recommend the food there.

We enjoyed sponsoring the Indian American Endowment dinner this year. The cultural sharing is always wonderful!

I’m looking forward to the Athena Ride for Women that starts tomorrow evening. I know it’s supposed to rain, but they have so many cool events scheduled that I just have to go. I got some cheap rain gear to throw over my clothes. If there are any local female riders, I encourage you to sign up. I’m a really slow rider and don’t get a lot of practice, but there’s a place at this event for everybody. It helped me find some diamonds in the rough in our area last year. I believe the charity were supporting is My Sister's Place. I’ll post pictures. I’m excited!

Set up at the Starwood Festival for the rest of this week. Holly is at the office in Athens for any maintenance needs. As they say when we drive into Wisteria, “Welcome Home”. I’m excited to see all my old friends.
