Christians help each other. They rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. They pray for and protect those who need it most. As we come to the close of our series through the book of James, Stephen Russell will survey the relevant/applicable conclusion (James 5:13–20). Please join us this Sunday, December 3, at 10:20 am (CT). Everyone is welcome.

Interested in the priesthood and deity of Jesus? You can learn more about these in yesterday’s sermons:
“Such a High Priest” (Speaker: Stephen Russell): https://www.youtube.com/live/Mg53Hi3uii0?si=eBt2VVHN9-MJptWN

Jesus is a gracious king. His gifts are undeserved but not unconditional. We must remain loyal to Christ and to his people. The book of Hebrews showcases the (royal) priesthood of Jesus and calls us to come to God through him. This Sunday, November 26, at 10:20 am (CT), Stephen Russell will survey the book of Hebrews and invite us to obey its principles. Everyone is welcome! Please join us.

It’s one thing to claim that the Bible is from God; it’s another to prove it. But, there are several reasons for accepting that the Bible is the word of God. This Sunday, November 19, at 10:20 am (CT), Marshall McDaniel will show evidence for the inspiration of Scripture as we continue our ongoing sermon series, “Can We Trust the Bible?” Everyone is welcome!

We’d also love for you to join us at 9:30 am for Bible classes (for all ages) and at 5:00 pm for another period of worship (speaker: Stephen Russell; sermon: “Matthew and Moses (Part 4).” See you then!
The Parable of the Sower is one of the more famous parables of Jesus. It is important too. Jesus indicates that without understanding of this parable the rest of his teaching will be out of reach. The Parable of the Sower, then, teaches us not only a spiritual lesson but also a method for understanding the Bible. Ready to learn these lessons? Join us this Sunday, November 12, at 10:20 am (CT) as Stephen Russell explores this foundational parable of Jesus. Everyone is welcome!

We also meet for Bible classes for all ages at 9:30 am and another period of worship (sermon: “Is Jesus God? Part 2”). See you then!
“Patience is a virtue.” This proverb is biblical, but patience is rarely, if ever, easy. The Bible encourages Christians, especially those who are facing terrible oppression, to be patient. But how can we add this virtue to our life? Join us this Sunday, November 5, at 10:20 am (CT) as Marshall McDaniel continues our ongoing series through the book of James as we find the answer.

Is wickedness inevitable and blamelessness impossible? Some professed Christians seem to answer with an emphatic “Yes!” But what does the Bible say? This Sunday, October 29, at 10:20 am (CT), Stephen Russell will unpack the biblical phrase “there is none righteous, no, not one” (Rom 3:10 KJV) to see if human sinfulness places righteousness out of reach.

Becoming a disciple of Christ requires a radical commitment. A disciple must give up everything for Christ. And yet, it also requires a sustained commitment that endures day after day. How do we balance the life of radical commitment with the life of daily reality as we seek to serve our Lord? Join us this Sunday, October 22, at 10:20 am (CT) as Stephen Russell takes us through the Scriptures to answer this question.

We also have Bible classes for all ages at 9:30 am and another period of worship with Jason Strickland preaching at 5:00 pm. See you then!
The earliest Christians prayed together, and God listened. They helped one another, and God supplied their needs. Satan did his best to break the unity of the people of God, but God preserved the faithful. Learn more tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm (CT) as John Michael Huggins continues our study through the book of Acts. Everyone is welcome. See you then!

According to a recent (2022) Barna poll, a record-low 20% of Americans believe the Bible is literally the word of God, and a record-high 29% believe it is a collection of man-made fables, myths, histories, and moral precepts. Now, more than ever, Christians must be able to answer the question, “Can we trust the Bible?” This Sunday (October 8 at 10:20 am (CT), Marshall McDaniel will begin a monthly series answering this question. The first sermon will discuss what is meant by the phrase, “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Tim 3:16). Please join us!
We also meet at 9:30 am for Bible classes for all ages and at 5:00 pm for another period of worship (speaker: Stephen Russell). We hope you can join us at all of these times.

Some of the first Christians suffered at the hands of rich oppressors. James rebukes these wealthy individuals and calls the Christians to persevere. As we continue our series through the book of James, Stephen Russell will explain how modern Christians should apply the principles of James 5:1–6 to our time. Join us this Sunday, October 1, at 10:20 am (CT). We also meet at 9:30 am for Bible classes and 5:00 pm for another period of worship. See you then!

Just as Timothy was the spiritual son of Paul, so also was Titus. Though we know less about Titus, the letter that Paul wrote to him is still valuable to us today. It shows us what it means to be spiritually healthy (sound) as a church and as individuals. This Sunday, September 10, at 10:20 am (CT), Stephen Russell will help us know the sound doctrine of Titus. Everyone is welcome. Please join us!

James says that we are like a wisp of smoke, here for a moment and gone the next. Yet too often we live as if we know what will happen a year (or even a day) from now and as if we control everything around us. Such is not the case, and James shows us a better way to face the future. Join us this Sunday, September 3, at 10:20 am (CT) as we continue our monthly series through James. Everyone is welcome!
