Did you know hydrangea color is super dependent on the soil they are planted in? In acidic soil (below a pH of 6), their flowers will be blue. In alkaline soil (with a pH above 7), their flowers will be pink, or even red!

But this pretty lil mix... Gotta be somewhere in the middle, right?
