Low back pain (LBP) is the leading cause of disability worldwide. LBP is often associated with loss of work productivity and a loss of quality of life.

As we continue our goal to improve community wellness, we will be heading to the Acworth Community Center to host a FREE and interactive wellness seminar on Low back Pain. The seminar is OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY.

Say Hi to Dr. Monica Cortes!

Dr.Monica is joining the team with experience in working with the orthopedic and neurological populations. She graduated from Florida International University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy and grew up in the sunshine state. Yes, ella habla español 😊

She has played softball all her life and loves the outdoors. She has been to eighteen national parks and counting and loves adventure.

Dr. Monica is currently taking patients and clients 😊

We are excited to have her as a member of the team

Jonathan is a senior in the magnet program At Kennesaw Mountain High School. He is looking to learn more about the human body and it’s bio mechanical function for his senior research project. He is originally from Upstate New York however does not miss the cold and snow. Jonathan enjoys learning about new things via you tube and playing basketball.

Say 👋🏾 to Dr. Solana Defrant! Optimum Physical Therapy's newest team member!
Dr.Solana graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy from St.Augustine University and is experienced with working with the orthopedic population, particularly active individuals and those wishing to be more active.
She also is experienced with treating patients with vestibular diagnoses such as vertigo, vestibular neuritis, and more. Prior to graduating, Dr. Solana worked as a personal trainer. She is also a Certified Pilates instructor.
Dr. Solana will begin taking patients on September 12th.
We are excited to have her on our team!
