Marco Noise also designs branding for business and he answered the call for logo designs for Art Is King. We received many submissions, and even I had a logo in mind but Marco’s logo was elegant, clean and had that clear impact we were looking for. 4 years later, Art Is King is rocking that logo to this day.

This week Art Is King Podcasts features an Artist interview with Expressionist Artist Mr Wade A Harrison

Born and Raised in Toledo Ohio, Mr Wade has been deep into the art scene, from bed sheets to walls onto paper, Mr Wade has used his art as a way of expression and release of his emotions. Mr Wade is heavily influenced by the Black Power Movement and Hip Hop. Ask him about the golden age of hip hop and he knows his stuff!

Now living and working in ATL, Mr Wade is a regular at various art functions around town as well as leaving his mark in the historic Krog tunnel. Mr Wade still finds time to travel back to Toledo and participate in Street Art and Exhibits.

Born in Statesboro Georgia, SL has traveled and lived in various parts of the southeast United States. He went on to college to major in both Family and Consumer Science and Business Marketing at South Carolina State University. Later during his matriculation he found a love for Fashion Design and enrolled in Atlanta's Bauder Fashion College. But, no matter what, art is and always will continue to be first in his heart.

Introduction to Photoshop is a two-part workshop designed to equip students with basic skills that enable them to navigate Adobe Photoshop’s various menus, panels, basic document settings, tools, and more. The workshop will focus on image editing/resizing, the manipulation of colors and tones, text formatting, and exporting works for print. At the end of the workshop students will have completed Business Cards, Flyers, Posters, Brochures, social media branding assets, and more!

This workshop will follow the below syllabus:

11/8: Getting to know the work area, new document settings and dimensions, learning about layers, image editing tools, working with selections

11/15: Typographical design, saving completed images, design branding assets, business cards, flyers, posters, social media images, and web design

Members must sign up for the entire course, as skills learned earlier will be built upon in later sessions.
