Because of the incredible community and engagement they normally have, microinfluencers can be more useful to a brand than macroinfluencers.

As we said yesterday, emotion is what makes someone buy.
But how can you create emotion in your branding? That’s where brand strategy comes in.
Here are a few quick tips.
Research Your Audience
Think about what makes your brand different
Ask yourself how your differentiator can solve your audience’s problems
Explain it to them in a way that will resonate with them
Your Turn. Comment with your thoughts!
When considering how to get someone to buy your product or service the first thing that many brands think about is what features can I offer.
More features = better product = more buyers = more money.
The problem with this equation is that it ignores a very simple fact about the way people make decisions.
People don’t buy because of features. People buy because of emotions and perceived value.
So the better question is, “Does the way I present my product or service trigger an emotion that will help my target audience see its value in their lives?”

“Branding is the process of connecting good strategy with good creativity.”
Would you show euphoria to a child?
You wouldn’t. If you would, we are judging you.
Before you can tell a story, you need to understand your audience.
Are they parents, business owners, extreme kayakers? Maybe all of the above.
Do they work from home or do they commute to different cities?
After you understand them, you can start to understand their pain points.
Finally, you must show them how you can transform their lives and bring them to their ideal state.
Strategy helps you understand your brand and your audience better. This lets you tell better stories.

Often times, we hear people saying that they need a new logo, website, cooler colors, etc. But what some fail to realize is those aren’t really solutions…on their own.
If you aren’t reaching your target audience then the solution is actually a proper brand strategy. Research your audience. Try to understand their pain points and how your product or service resolves the problem.
Then make sure that you carry over those findings into your logos, websites and whatever other touch points you have with your audience.
The design process can only solve problems once you’ve effectively diagnosed the problem.
