Whether you knew him as a fellow farmer, musician, or teacher, he was a rare soul who made uplifting the community his life’s mission. He always greeted us with a huge smile and would freely bless us with cilantro, mushrooms, and various other produce from his garden. He was genuine and pure, and would share his knowledge indiscriminately with everyone he encountered. The man was mint.

This Thursday, we’re taking proceeds from our sales and giving it directly to his family. To all those whose lives he enriched with his craft and his heart, we kindly ask that you join us this Thursday to BIG THIS MAN UP! If you’d like to simply donate and not purchase food, we’ll be collecting those as well. Let’s eat, share stories, laugh, and offer what we can to help make this time a little less difficult for his family.

There’s no way to fill the void he’s left, but we can carry on with warmth and gratitude that he was even part of our lives.
