We were delighted to be part of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport‘s wonderful annual 4th of July celebration last week and to extend our warmest congratulations to the U.S. on the 248th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. 🇺🇸📜

A gorgeous floral arrangement served as our official tribute. Along with other colorful flowers from the Bahamas, Haiti, India, Lebanon, Peru, South Korea, and Taiwan, they are still on display in the atrium of the ATL International Terminal (Concourse F) for a few more days. 💐

By the way, fitting with the theme of this year's Fourth of July celebration – "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Flying" – a seasonal direct flight between and was resumed by Delta Air Lines just a few weeks ago. How about a splendid vacation in Switzerland this summer? 🛫🇨🇭

📒 Bernard, who has dedicated four years to the Swiss Consulate General in Atlanta as Vice Consul and managed our accounting with meticulous precision, is now embarking on a new journey to Colombia for his next posting. He will continue his stellar work in Bogotá for the next four years.

🎭 Omar joined us about two years ago as an academic intern and quickly rose to become the Head of Public Diplomacy & Cultural Affairs at the end of May 2023. He's been the mastermind behind all the fantastic events you've seen on this account (and more!). Now he's off to South America to learn Spanish and start an exciting new chapter of his life.

🎨 Célie, our academic intern in Public Diplomacy & Cultural Affairs this past year has been a dynamo of energy and creativity. As her internship concludes, she's setting her sights on the "Windy City", flying to Chicago to chase her dreams in the land of opportunities. We know she'll make waves wherever she goes!

🪪 Nicola, our dedicated intern at the Chancery for the past year, is returning to our beautiful alpine nation to begin his military service. He's been an invaluable part of our team, and we're sure he'll bring the same devotion and enthusiasm to everything he pursues.

We wish all of them the very best in their future endeavors, filled with success, happiness, and hope for crossing paths again soon! 🤗
