How Important is getting your suspension properly sprung and tuned on your Motocross and Off-road Bike?

Well, let me me show you. On the left is a stock spring off a 2019 MX bike and on the right is the correct spring for my weight. See the difference in overall diameter and height? That could be the difference between “That was a gnarly crash, glad you’re ok” and “Please contribute to my friend’s gofundme for their medical expenses”.

Motocross and off-road are dangerous sports and there is no reason to take unnecessary risks. Don’t have the money for a full valve and spring? At least do your springs; it could save your life, or at the very least, your ankles.

I have had the privilege to be surrounded my the top of the line suspension gurus and I would trust any of them with my bike and my life.

I may LOOK like a busted can of biscuits, but I FEEL like a gazelle 🏎 💨 haha. Truck is currently non-mission capable, so it was a rainy ride to physical therapy today.

This was also the first ride on my new (to me) 2010 Specialized Tarmac Comp Compact Ultegra that I picked up for $600 from someone who was using it as a trainer queen. Killer value for a full carbon bike with Ultegra components. What a waste for this thing to be in a trainer! It’s ok though, she’ll get her miles. Also hit 35+mph on a downhill sprint in above mentioned rain 😂 🇺🇸 🦅

Make sure you’re swinging by Pacific Bike and Ski and Pacific Mountain Sports, picking up some Dumonde Tech products, and keeping your machines in tip top shape!! Ask for Mike and tell him I sent you! You’re not going to get a discount or anything but I’ve also always wanted to say that... 🇺🇸 🦅.
