Big Girls Run was founded for thicker women who would work out but find it hard to motivate them self to get up and run, jog, or walk.

Soo guys, not only did I hit my goals this month… I surpassed them!!! I’m down 74 lbs!!!
Who would’ve thought this could happen in 4 months? Not me! I’m soo proud of myself and my journey for the next month (s)!

I have no big long message… I just know consistency is truly key.
There are days that I just want to go to sleep and instead, I push through!!! I’m soo proud of myself for sticking to it… see y’all next month!!!
I hit my two month goal and I’M DOWN 40 LBS!!
When they say CONSISTENCY is KEY, they mean it!
This has been such an amazing two months for me physically! I’m genuinely proud of myself because it can be so easy to put things off and say you’ll get to it the next day. This time around, I’ve eliminated the ability to make an excuse!
My goal for next month is to continue to stay consistent, as well as lose roughly 17-20lbs. While these are the goals I set forth, I’ll be appreciative of any progress I get!!
HEY Y’ALL, I know you may not see a difference but trust me I feel the difference! On the right in 21 lbs down!
June 15th I had just returned from Miami and told myself I was going to go hard! I’ve been consistently running, in the gym, and eating healthier.
I created a system that worked best for me. Only checking the scale on the same day every week, not putting pressure on myself to be perfect, and most importantly becoming more accountable for myself!
From June 15th to July 15th I lost 21 lbs. I’m actually down more now! I’ll check in with y’all on August 15th in the same dress!

When trying to accomplish a goal you need to have a clear vision of what it is that you want to accomplish. Having a SMART goal should help you create a clear vision of who you want to be and what you want to accomplish!

The mission of “Big Girls Run” is to promote health and body positivity. Our goal is motivate all women to practice a healthy lifestyle. We strive to serve as a safe haven for the not so typical runners and walkers, as well as provide resources such as trainers to help guide women with their journey. We will be donating funds to various charities that support mental health, diabetes, and women.

“Before starting my weight-loss journey I weighed 316lbs which is the heaviest I’ve ever been! When I saw those numbers on the scale it really didn’t motivate me to actually lose the weight!!!! What did motivate me to lose the weight was the picture on the left. It took a toll on me mentally and caused my confidence to drop all the way to the ground. From that day on I decided to make a LIFESTYLE change!! On February 1, 2019 I took a vow that I would change my life for the better! I am proud to say I’m 93lbs down!!
