Delmarva Veteran Builders, a Maryland-based general contractor, is hoping to help put an end to the large labor gap the construction industry has continued to face over the years. After the GC’s subcontractor base started to diminish, he knew something needed to be done to engage young people and get them interested in the construction trades.

Earlier this month, Philadelphia launched a digital tool, the Permit Navigator, in hopes to improve the ease of accessing that information.
