Our client MAP International ships disaster kits across the world to areas where disaster strikes. This week MAP sent over 5,000 disaster kits to Katy, TX to help after Hurricane Beryl. Each kit is equipped with first aid supplies and hygiene products to support survivors for an entire week after a disaster strikes.

The Atlanta office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP hosted a party last night to celebrate the arrival of the 2024 Copa América in Atlanta! The 2024 Copa América marks the 48th edition of the world’s oldest soccer competition for National Teams organized by CONMEBOL, the South America soccer confederation. Belisa Urbina, CEO and co-founder of Ser Familia, Inc, received the Community Outreach Health Care Champion award at the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Health Care Champions Awards. Belisa was completing a fellowship at Harvard University the night of the awards, so her son Miguel, who is marketing manager for Ser Familia, accepted the award on her behalf. Ser Familia provides much-needed mental health services to the Hispanic community.

Hank’s family and friends were joined at the dedication by a host of baseball Hall of Famers, including Dave Winfield, Ozzie Smith, Fred McGriff, Jim Rice, Eddie Murray, Fergie Jenkins, Joe Torre, Rollie Fingers and Jim Kaat.
