Sol Catering

It was another Fire station Food Drop off day to bring Sol food to our Favorite First Responders! Four of our Dekalb County Fire stations received food from Sol, including Emory Guard, who is the designated Fire station serving all of the area in and around where Sol Catering is located! Dekalb County Fire Stations 1 (Emory Guard), 11 (The Rock), 23 (The Brockett Triangle) and 20 (Pride of Panthersville)'s menu today: Picadillo, Albondigas (Meatballs/rice simmered in New Mexico Green chili peppers), Flour tortillas, Mexican Rice and Green NM chili pepper Tamales! As always, it is a great honor to be able to bring a little sunshine to our GA firefighters in the way of food in thanks for all that they do for us!

Over the past few years, September 11th has always been a good day to bring Sol Catering lunch to some of our many favorite first responders in Dekalb County - today was Number 7 - War Wagon!!! Always in great thanks to all of the firefighters who serve others - every single call. We appreciate every single one of you.

Sol Catering continues to drop off food to one Firestation per week, enough food for all three shifts at each house in continual thanks for the work they all do for Georgia. Today was Dekalb county Number 26 - McAfee Run! Tamales, Pork Taco with pineapple salsa, enchilada casseroles, beans/rice and Chips-Salsa-Cheese Dip with Banana Cream pies and Chai Zucchini breads for dessert! We are thankful for our favorite First Responders!!!! Let's gooooo!

YES, WE OPEN AT 4PM ON SUPERBOWL SUNDAY FOR BURRITOS TO GO - open at 4pm! Along with our regular To Go Burrito Menu, we are serving Superbowl Specials of the day - the Buffalo Chicken and a Superbowl Loaded Nachos Plate! COME GET 'EM WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

Well you asked for it, and now you've got it! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Sol Catering is bringing BURRITOS TO GO back to start the new year! We begin our first block back at it this coming MONDAY (Martin Luther King Jr Day), January 17th, 2022. Sol will be running the Burrito To Go menus three days a week - every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-8pm starting with some of your favorites! As before, we will ALSO have assorted drinks, desserts and various weekly frozen menu items available for purchase and takeaway! Stay tuned and we will keep you posted each week on any specials and details before Monday arrives so you can see/hear about what's new prior to coming on by! Let's goooooooo!

On this September 11th 20th anniversary, all of us here at Sol Catering want to say THANK YOU to all first responders everywhere; nurses, doctors, EMTs, police officers and most especially Firefighters in every town, city and state in the USA. We continue each week to feed one GA Firestation with Sol Catering food as we have done since the pandemic began - enough for each firefighter in the stations we drop off to. This upcoming week is no exception - as Thursday will be our food drop day to the next one. To all of the men and women heroes who run toward chaos to help, protect and serve their fellow humans. We salute you - ALL.

We have picked ourselves up and are keeping on moving forward here at Sol! Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way; we are SURVIVING! We are excited by the orders coming in and are happy to be cooking and organizing to get awesome food out to all of you!

We continue to feed one Fire station every week - delivering enough food for each shift of firefighters to the Fire station we designate weekly! Today's drop off was to Dekalb County number 7 Fire Station -- the WAR WAGON their truck is called! Their menu of food included Beef tacos, Chicken Tinga Tacos, Chicken & lemon cream sauce enchilada casseroles, refried beans & rice, chips, salsa, cheese dip and Chef David made up some Cinammon crips and chocolate mocha cookies for dessert! Let's goooooooooo!

Good EVENING FOODIES! We want everyone to know that tomorrow's lunch at Sol (11:00am-1:30pm) will be our last Burrito Block day until June, as we'll be suspending our blocks for the month of May, due to our small staff and catering business increasing. Burritos will be BACK, however, so PLEASE stay tuned here on Facebook and over e-mail.
