Leading 10-8 to begin the day, the Peach State had a stellar final day capturing 15 points to win 25-11!

⛳️ .b.clyburn goes Back-2-back 🏆

Congratulations to R.B. Clyburn of Cartersville for winning his second straight Georgia Match Play Championship. After seven rounds of match play, Clyburn won the final match 4&2, to defend his title as Georgia Match Olay Champion.

This is R.B’s fourth GSGA title. He’s previously won the 2023 Georgia Mixed team championship, the 2023 Georgia Match Play, and the 2024 Georgia Four-Ball Championship.

Georgia Golf Hall of Famers (and sisters) Martha Leach and Hollis Stacy (pictured together) will compete along with fellow Hall of Famers Vicki Goetze-Ackerman and Cindy Schreyer!

Reigning GSGA Senior Women’s 4-Ball Champion Kristyl Sunderman of McDonough is among the amateurs in the field!

Georgia professionals Tonya Gill Danckaert of Stone Mountain and Denise Killeen of Canton are also in the field!

Alisa Pressley of Hoschton claimed the Louise Suggs Trophy and the Women’s Match Play with a 6&4 victory, while Sarah Gallagher of Canton won the Senior Women’s Match Play 5&4!

This marks the first GSGA title for Alisa and the third GSGA title for Sarah in the past year!

Jake Peacock is the 103rd Champion!

Peacock drained a long birdie putt on the 72nd hole to claim his second-straight Robert H. Martin Trophy! He becomes the first to go back-to-back since Russell Henley (2008, 2009)!

With the win, Peacock is now exempt into the 2024 and the 2025 !

Moving Day at the 103rd featured plenty of movement and birdies and a familiar name sits atop the leaderboard after 54 holes of action ⛳️

Defending champion fired a 5-under 67 in Rd. 3 to move to -11 overall! He leads by three as he aims to become the first back-to-back champion since Russell Henley (2008-2009).
