We've got our eye on design! In this summer's Atlanta Market Magazine, we chatted with Ajia Monét of Ablige Interior Design Group. We asked her about upcoming trends for the rest of 2024 and beyond.

"We see people are really getting into sustainable and eco-friendly spaces, using lots of organic shapes, raw finishes and natural materials like limewash, Roman clay, and, of course, marble in creative ways. Oh, and have you heard about the wild world of augmented reality (AR) and immersive design? Tech and design are colliding to bring us some awesome experiences, from the controversial AI-generated renderings to fun stuff like home golf simulators. It's the wild wild west out here right now, but in a very fun way."

How lucky am I? 🥹 Not only did I have the special opportunity to present a session on digital marketing for Crystal Media Co, but I was also asked to be a Market Pro, where I sourced items to match the Pinterest Predicts article I wrote earlier this year. My name is Steph Bechard and I covered 4 trends in the article: Kitschens, Eclectic Grandpa, Give a Scrap, and Cafécore, which Pinterest identified from an increase in search volume on their platform. Here's what I found:

1. ♻️ First off, the Coelo Occasional Chair by The Bramble Company found at B1 14-F10 goes great with the “Give a Scrap” trend. The fabric is made with LiveSmart EVOLVE fabric, where 1 yard of fabric is made from 9 recycled water bottles.

2. 🍸 I can already imagine an “Eclectic Grandpa” raising a glass using these Tall Recycled Champagne Flutes by Kalalou, made by Colombian glassblowers, found at B2 10-1018.

3. 🍊 These playful 9” Round Plates by Creative Co-Op, Inc. found at B2 10-1080 would fit perfectly on the shelves of a “Kitschen”. Who doesn’t love a litttttle kitchiness.

4. ☕ Twirly, colourful, and FUN, the wave mugs, coffee plunger and teapot from Fazeek Home encapsulates “Cafécore” so well. Found in Aesthetic Movement showroom, B1 9-A13.�

5. ♻️ NOTES Candle refillable candles are made with a combination of 100% natural wax, contributing to the “Give a Scrap” trend. Found in the OneCoast showroom B2 18-1800.�

6. 🍊When I think of ”Kitschens”, I think of fish-shaped serve and glassware like the Mix Sicily Vase from Serax also found in the Aesthetic Movement showroom.�

7. 🍸 An “ Eclectic Grandpa” would certainly be sipping from their ORCA Coolers Tini cup, found at B3 4-2412, looking cooler than the cat’s pajamas.

8. ☕ I met Sydney Woern from Primitives by Kathy who showed me a great variety of “Cafécore” including the Cottage Red Mug and Pitcher, found in B2 7-737.

3. 🪩Disco ball everything! We saw a great selection of mirrored disco ball items this Market However this Pink RAZ Imports table top mirrored Christmas trees are a show stopper.

4. These gorgeous d stevensllc ribbons are perfect for the hottest trend of the season, whether sequins, glitter or velvet I know I can always count on them for a great selection. These are just a few of the gorgeous Pink ribbons I saw while at their showroom.

5. TREND ALERT! The Big Shiny Balls are as big as they are festive. I loved the selection of colors and sizes, they are inflatable, durable and perfect for indoor/outdoor spaces.
And keeping on trend did I mention they have a PINK one!

6. Few things stop me in my tracks and that was the case with this absolutely gorgeous Enesco Gift US Iridescent Deer and Christmas trees. They shine from the inside with some fairy lights that make them look so MAGICAL and perfect for the Holiday season.

7. This Accent Decor, Inc. brass deer is a great tool when decorating for the holidays. The traditional look of brass mixes well with any style or theme for the holidays. This is truly a stunning piece.
