A BIG Thank You to & for including me on the inaugural Marburger Farm Atlanta antique & design show held at this past week. It was great to connect the design trade with curated antique dealers from across the globe.

Held in the Southern Exchange Building - Designed by Philip Shutze, Atlanta’s famous classical architect, 200 Peachtree Street officially opened in 1927 as the Davison’s department store before becoming known as the iconic Macy’s.
 
The main entrance on Peachtree featured a very stately marble-floored cosmetics and jewelry area, which is now the Whitehall Ballroom of Southern Exchange.
 
Modeled after Macy’s flagship store on Herald Square in New York, the refurbished mezzanine overlooking the atrium level gazes out on the brilliantly polished crystal chandeliers. Slide to see a glimpse of downtown Atlanta in the 1960’s. The historic building can be seen in the bottom left.
