Nothing says “I’m thinking of you” like a tin filled with our signature Susansnaps! 🍪 Fun fact: When we first started, Mom and I had one goal: to spread cheer with every cookie. But, we had to figure out how to ship our gingersnaps safely in order to sell as gifts. Our initial options? A red tin or a white paper bag. From our garage bakery in Atlanta, we sent test packages to friends and family in California—even practicing by tossing them across the room & sliding across the floor! Back to school is here, and it’s a whirlwind of excitement and emotions! My 2nd grader and preschooler are off to start new adventures, and this mommy is feeling all the feelings! Recently celebrated our littlest love’s birthday! 🩷🎉 Life is full of magical moments, and I try to be as present as possible. As a cancer survivor, and mom as a caretaker of two, we often get asked, “How did cancer change you?” I used to say it didn’t, BUT it did. Cancer makes you appreciate the small moments because you know all too well life can change in a snap (no pun intended!) We find something good in every day, and there’s JOY even on the tough ones. Birthdays are a beautiful reminder to cherish each moment and always find a reason to smile! 😊
