DeKalb to Open Warming Centers Nov. 30 and Dec. 1
DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County will open warming centers for residents to use this week.
WE WILL BE OPENING FOR COLD WEATHER SHELTER WEDNESDAY NOV 30th AND THURSDAY DEC. 1ST.
IF YOU KNOW OF FAMILIES WHO WOULD LIKE THIS SERVICE, PLEASE REFER THEM TO US OR HAVE THEM REACH OUT TO US AT: [email protected] or text 904-825-8035.
YOU MAY ALSO REFER INDIVIDUALS BUT WE WILL CONSIDER THEM DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF FAMILIES NEEDING SHELTER. WE CAN ONLY HOUSE 23 PEOPLE.
INDIVIDUALS MUST MEET AT SYCAMORE HOUSE, ACROSS FROM THE DECATUR LIBRARY BY 7 PM.
FAMILIES MAY COME DIRECTLY TO DECATUR FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 300 E PONCE DE LEON AVE. DECATUR BETWEEN 6:15 AND 6:45 PM. THE ENTRANCE IS THE GYM DOOR AT THE BACK OF THE CHURCH NEXT TO THE DUMPSTERS AND THE PARKING LOT.
