This 4/20, we have green on our mind…green wine that is!

Vinho Verde literally translates to “green wine”, but its meaning is really “young wine” in a reference to the fresh style of wine that is made and released as soon as 3 months after the grapes are harvested (fast for most winemaking).

Vinho Verdes are bright and citrusy, with notes of apple and a slight effervescence that delightfully tingles the tongue. Since they are lower in alcohol (usually between 9-11%) they are an excellent choice for enjoying all afternoon and into the evening! Perfect to drink as an aperitif or to enjoy with seafood, spring vegetables and salads!

Our Easter Basket is full of wines that will pair perfectly with everything on the table. From ham to lamb to seafood to fresh spring vegetables, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
