We have 2 sable females available from import litter T-2, they are about 10 weeks old now. They are more suitable for a family environment, prey/energy levels are medium.

On 08/21/21, VPD Officers were dispatched to a Sanford St. residence for the report of Domestic Violence. Upon investigation is was learned that the male suspect had physically assaulted his fiancé and then fled the scene prior to Officer’s arrival. An arrest warrant was subsequently applied for and granted.

On 08/23/21, VPD Sgt. Reising observed the suspect in his driveway entering a vehicle. The suspect then fled the area on foot into the Valley View area. VPD Units set up a perimeter and Sgt. Chandler and his Partner, K-9 Falon, were called out from home to assist. Sgt. Chandler arrived on scene and K-9 Falon was deployed to conducted a track for the suspect in a densely wooded area. The K-9 Unit, with the assistance of Ptl. Davis and Ptl. Sargent, entered the woods to search for the suspect. K-9 Falon proceeded to lead the Officers directly into the woods approximately 100 yards and alerted to the suspect hiding under a large log in a ditch. The suspect then surrendered to K-9 Falon without putting up any resistance.

The suspect, identified as Erik Khoury (age 45) of Vermilion, was charged with Domestic Violence and Obstructing Official Business. He was transported to the Erie County Jail with no bond and a court date of 08/24/21.

No Officers, K-9 Falon, or the suspect were injured during the arrest. This is a great example of the value of our VPD K-9 Unit and of the teamwork within the VPD.
