The karate students with Pan American Goju lead by Sensai Zaid, at the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam on Mondays and Wednesdays, have made great strides in their training and were officially invited to compete in the National Karate & Kungfu Olympia Games.

The tournament was a great success for the students. We had 12 students, and six parents. Out of the 12 students 10 actually competed in kata and sparring. We brought home two Grand Championship Belts, six Gold, two Silver, four Bronze, and two 4th place medals. Alhamdulillah!

The nomination period will end November 8, 2024. Nominees must meet requirements to be valid for voting.

The Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam is excited to host a Green Panel Discussion on November 3rd, 2024! As the world transitions to clean energy, the time has come for our community to begin the conversation and claim our piece of this important movement.

This event will feature experts who will walk us through Solar 101, covering the basics of solar energy, along with energy efficiency strategies, funding opportunities, and financial incentives available in Georgia. We’ll wrap up with a Q&A session, so bring your questions!

Mohammed Schools of Atlanta proudly celebrates Founders Week this week. We use this time to hone in on concepts of doing for self, of having strong convictions and standing by them, and of remembering those that paved a way for us to have our own schools. The Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam in Partnership with Enough To Share Food Pantry. Food Distribution Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, 2 PM to 4 PM * Masjid Parking Lot. If you have any nonperishable food items you would like to donate, see the barrel in the lobby under marketing table. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CLOTHING OF HOUSEHOLD GOODS.

Every 3rd Sunday Taleem is Family Growth Class - 2 PM, Presented by Imam Sulaimaan Hamed, in the Musallah. Come and learn some necessary skills in how to keep your family healthy and strong.
