My Story
I got into the insurance industry because my mother had a stroke at 40 and my family and I were uneducated and ill prepared for what would come after...I seen my mother lose her home, her ability to earn an income and our family due to the lack of income all because she became sick.
She had basic benefits from her job like any average american but we learned the hard way that it isn’t your jobs responsability to take care of you its your own, the world dosen’t excuse you for not knowing.
Being paralized on the right side of her body we thought maybe the goverment would come in and provide some sort of relief but she was denied social security and was forced to live with my grandmother and After 3 years of living place to place and countless of court trials fighting for social security she recieved 5 grand and a monthly benefit of 750 dollars for a life time of work.
It was a sad story but a reality I that was living and I never wanted that to happen to me so after meeting with a insurance broker I got my first life insurance policy and realized my mother could have protected herself for less than 30 bucks a month.
