The University System of Georgia is composed of 26 public colleges and universities, the State Archives and the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS).
The University System of Georgia, a part of the community in each of Georgia’s 159 counties, provides services across the state. The University System is composed of 26 public colleges and universities, the State Archives and the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS). GPLS encompasses approximately 389 facilities in 61 library systems throughout Georgia.

Honored to share that the University System of Georgia and the Georgia National Guard were among six community partnerships from across the nation honored recently at the Pentagon for work to foster military career access for students. A big thank you to Dalton State President John Fuchko, a decorated colonel with Georgia National Guard, who was on hand to accept the award on USG’s behalf.
